POSITION TITLE: Student Worker, Electrical/Electronic Automated Systems
DEPARTMENT: Technical
REPORTS TO: Electronics Service Technician
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with all instructors as required
2. Assist instructors in setting up lab projects in technical courses.
3. Organization of lab supplies in classrooms and repairing of equipment parts used in labs.
4. Run misc. errands on campus and off campus with staff members
5. Perform related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be enrolled in an EEAS or EET program or have one year of related experience.
2. MUST have soldering skills.
3. Must have good math skills.
4. Must have a good understanding of how to work with hand tools.
5. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Prefer electrical background.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Normal classroom physical demands.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Duties are performed indoors in classrooms or labs and occasionally an outdoor environment.
